SUBJECT: Parks and Recreation Director
As you know, Zac Dockter has declined the City's offer to serve as Parks and Recreation
Director. He decided to accept a counter offer from his current employer and home town
of Cottage Grove to fill the Park and Recreation Director position. That position was
previously eliminated, but, according to Mr. Dockter, it has been recreated to retain him.
Mayor Dietz, Dave Anderson, and I have discussed possible options to move forward with
filling this position. An update will be provided at Monday's meeting.
