Authorization to schedule the Annua12011 Mayor's Pinewood Open for Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 2:00

Background/Discussion
Over the past several years, Pinewood golf course has hosted an Annual Mayor's golf tournament. The
golf course benefits from tournament revenue and marketing exposure. This has been a great community
event in the past and we anticipate another good tournament this year. As in the past, we anticipate
making this an opportunity to raise funds for CAER. In the past a silent auction was held and a separate
donation line on the registration was made available fox CAER.
Financial Impact
We anticipate approximately 40 people using the course for two hours. The revenue will be greater than
the two hours of greens fees on a Thursday afternoon.
