ACTION REQUESTED
Adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the monetary contribution from the Elk River Lions Club
and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 3264 pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 465.03.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The City of Elk River Parks and Recreation Department received a $500.00 donation from the Elk River
Lions Club and $500.00 donation from the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 3264 with the intent that
the money be used to purchase recreation program supplies.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
A contribution in the amount of $1000.00 was received.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the Ciry of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organzations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received donations in the year 2011 from various
individuals and organizations as itemized on Exhibit A, attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Ciry of Elk River,
by at least atwo-thirds vote, to acknowledge the support and commend sponsors for their
donations on the attached Exhibit A.
Passed and adopted by the Ciry Council of the Ciry of Elk River this 16`" day of May 2011.
