SUBJECT: Financial Model
Every year, we review the 20 year financial model from the general fund as part of the long-
term financial planning. In addition, we review all other funds as part of the budget and
capital improvement plan process. Tonight I will present the updated financial model for the
general fund with the 2010 actual numbers and review the additional capabilities that have
been enhanced since your last review. As the 2012 budget requests come in and are
presented to Council, the model will track with those requests and we will use the model to
forecast various scenarios and ideas.
