To date, approximately 450 response cards have been received at our offices and entered into ArcView, with 233 respondents denying property access, and most of the remainder granting access; approximately 30 - 35 landowners have requested additional information about the project before they determine whether to allow property access. We are continuing our efforts to contact these landowners in order to answer their questions about the project and uses of the resulting data. Nearly all of the respondents that we have talked to granted property access. We are still receiving 10 - 12 contact cards per week, although the rate of return has slowed considerably. Current and upcoming steps include continue finalizing preliminary digitizing of landcover polygons, landcover coding(MLCCS), and finalizing field maps. If you have any questions about the project or any of the work that's been completed to date, please feel free to contact us.
