I, John J. Dietz, Mayor, hereby request a special closed meeting of the Elk River City
Council on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, 6:30 p.m., at Elk River Ciry Hall, 13065 Orono Parkway,
Elk River, Minnesota.
The purpose of the special meeting will be to adjourn to closed session, pursuant to
Minnesota Statute 13D.05, subd. 3(b), Attorney-Client Privilege, to discuss litigation related
to the Elk River Landfill.
In accordance with State Statute, I hereby request the city clerk to post this notice at least
three days prior to the meeting date. I further request the city clerk to notify each member of
the City Council of this meeting, in writing, at least one day before the meeting.
