Ms. Johnson is requesting a second therapeutic massage license to practice therapeutic
massage at Moe Therapeutic Massage located at 934 Highway 10. Ms. Johnson currently has
a license to practice at The Waterfall Day Spa and Salon located at 705 Main Street. This
license was approved by Council in January 2003. She received a successful background
check in January during the first application process. When licenses are due for renewal each
year, Ms. Johnson will pay $100 for the renewal of each license (The license renewal fee is
$100 for a massage therapist license). There is no provision in our ordinance that limits the
number of licenses an individual is allowed.
Action Requested
Council motion to approve a second therapeutic massage license for Julie Johnson to
practice therapeutic massage at Moe's Therapeutic Massage.
