MEMORANDUM Mayor & City Council Pat Klaers, City Adminis~ October 20, 1997 Utilities Commission Update Councilmember John Dietz is our city representative on the Elk River Municipal Utilities Commission. The Utilities Commission typically meets on the second Tuesday of each month and Councilmember Dietz provides an update to the City Council on the third Monday of each month. This is our Cable TV meeting night and an opportunity to help distribute information about the utilities operation. The Utilities Commission has rescheduled its October monthly meeting to Tuesday, October 21, 1997. Accordingly, this update from Councilmember Dietz will be more in the line of what the Commission is planning to discuss and review rather than action that the Commission has taken. Attached for your review is the agenda for the October 21, 1997, Utilities Commission meeting. The next regular Commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11, 1997, at 3:30 p.m., at the Utilities office. However, it should be noted that November 11, 1997, is Veteran's Day.
