Options on moving forward with the Parks and Recreation Director position include:
Have the Interim City Administrator whittle the candidates down to 15-20, give those to the
interview committee to review and rate, then interview the top five; or
2. Delay the entire process until a new city administrator is on board.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
We now have 81 applicants for the Parks and Recreation Director position. The Council needs to have a
discussion as to the course of action with these applicants.
If the Council decides to proceed with hiring, the interview committee from the last go-around could be
quickly reactivated. Applicants should be notified if we decide to wait for a new city administrator.
