Council resolution acknowledging a donation of $100 to the police department by RMG/Alerus
Financial.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
RMG/Alerus Financial, a residential mortgage company, has a charitable donation initiative called "Refer
a friend. Build your community". Every home loan that RMG closes, results in a $100 donation to a
community or public service entity of the customer's choice. Casey and Breanna Paulson, former Elk
River residents, have selected the Elk River Police Department as their designated donation recipient.
RMG/Alerus Financial has made a $100 donation to the Elk River Police Department in their name.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The donation will have a positive impact of $100 on the police budget.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the Ciry of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, .and
individuals for theix contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the Ciry of Elk River received a $100 donation from RMG/Alerus Financial
on behalf of Casey and Breanna Paulson with the intent it be used by the Elk River Police
Department for Police Bike Team Equipment; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ciry Council of the Ciry of Elk River
to acknowledge the support and commend RMG/Alerus Financial and Mr. and Mrs.
Paulson for their donation.
Passed and adopted by the Ciry Council of the City of Elk River this 8`'' day of August, 2011.
