A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF THE
SEAL COATING IMPROVEMENT OF 2011
WHEREAS pursuant to a Cit<= Council motion passed at the June 13, 2011 meeting, competitive
bids were solicited and received for the 2011 Seal Coating Improvement; and
WHEREAS the CitS~ Council has considered the amount of the bids and the responsibility- of the
bidders and determined that Pearson Bros. Inc. is the lozvest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Citc= Council of the City of Elk Rig-er,
~7innesota:
1. The Mayor and Cit4= Administrator are authofized and directed to execute, on behalf of the
CitS=, such contract with Pearson Bros. Inc., as is approved by= the City- Attorney=, for the
completion of the 2011 Seal Coating Improvement according to the approved plans and
specifications.
2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to forthwith return to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids upon execution of the contract specified above.
