SUBJECT: Major Park Use -Use of Lions Park for a Fundraiser Walk
Re uest
The CAER organization has requested the use of Lions Paxk on Sunday, October 9th to
hold a community walk fundraiser event. The rental period would run from approximately
2:30 - 7:00 p.m. The group plans to utilize the outdoor shelter attached to Lions Paxk
Centex and the walking paths. They expect approximately 100 people to attend the event.
Information for your consideration
• This is a resident group.
• Proceeds from the event will be utilized to support community services provided by
CAER.
Staff Recommendations
Event be approved with the following guidelines:
• All facility rental fees be waived.
• The group will cover the cost of any needed additional portable toilets.
