SUBJECT: Premises Permit Renewal for Celebrity
Bowl Charities
Celebrity Bowl Charities has made application for Premises Permit
Renewal at Elk River Bowl. Celebrity Bowl Charities has met the
city's requirement of spending at least 75% of its net profits in the
trade area which includes the cities of Elk River, Ramsey,
Zimmerman, Otsego and Rogers. (See attached Expenditure of
Funds).
ACTION REQUESTED:
Council motion adopting the attached resolution approving
premises permit for Celebrity Bowl Charities.

A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL FOR
CELEBRITY BOWL CHARITIES
WHEREAS, Celebrity Bowl Charities has made application to the State Control
Gambling control Board for a Premises Permit Renewal; and
WHEREAS, the Premises Permit will allow charitable gambling on the premises of
the Elk River Bowl at 13161 Highway 10, Elk River; and
WHEREAS,
Celebrity Bowl Charities has met the City's requirement of spending
75% of its lawful expenditures within the City's trade area during the
past two years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, that a Premises Permit for Celebrity Bowl
Charities be granted to allow charitable gambling operations at the
Elk River Bowl; 13161 Highway 10.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 15th day of
December, 1997.
