AUTIIORIZATION TO CONTINUE COPS FAST
ItIRING PROCESS
ITEM 6.4.
This is to inform the city council that we have completed the preliminary hiring process for the
COPS FAST position. The next phase is psychological and medical examinations. I want to
remind the council that this next phase is a conditional offer of employment.
Candidate #l is scheduled for his psychological on December 15, 1997; and Candidate #2 is
scheduled for his psychological on December 18, 1997.
I am req. uesting official authorization for both COPS FAST positions. On January 5, 1998, I plan
on cormng to the city council meeting to get authorization to hire both candidates if they pass the
final phase.
