As Members of Pullman Place Cooperative and residents of the Elk River
community, we would like to voice our enthusiastic support in favor of the City of
Elk River retaining it "Energy City -Elk River" status.
We believe that this designation as the only "Energy City" in Minnesota has had a
positive impact on the Elk River community. This has been evidenced by the
adoption and implementation of innovative technology, the construction of
energy efficient buildings, Elk River being the recipient of a significant amount of
grant monies and the provision of public outreach and education resulting in
conservation of energy and savings in money.
Let's save "Energy City-Elk River"!
