RESOLUTION ACK
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
indi~riduals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $2,000 donation from the Eddy Family
Foundation with the intent it be used by the Elk River Fire Department to purchase
firefighting and rescue equipment; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $2,000 donation from the Eddy Family
Foundation with the intent it be used by the Elk River Police Department for the
department's share of implementing Project Life Saver and to purchase departrnent holsters;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $100 donation from Mr. and Mrs. Aloysious
Goblirsch with the intent it be used to purchase law enforcement equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
by at least a two-thirds vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the Eddy
• Foundation and Mr. and Mrs. Aloysious Goblirsch for their contributions.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 3`d day of October
