Consider Jim Nord's Resignation from the Elk River Heritage
Preservation Commission (HPC) and Appointment of Lance
Lindberg
Due to family issues, Jim Nord is resigning from the Elk River Heritage Preservation
Commission (HPC). Attached is his letter of resignation. Jim has served on the
Commission since its origin, he is a valued member and his service to the community will be
missed.
Also attached is an application from Mr. Lance Lindberg, stating his desire to be a member
of the HPC. Lance, a long time resident of the community, has been attending the HPC
meetings routinely and is current with what the Commission is working on. Staff
recommends Lance be appointed to the Elk River HPC to serve out the remainder of jim
Nord's term, which ends on February 28, 2005.
