ACTION REQUESTED
Open and continue the two public hearings to December 19, 2011.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Cornerstone is requesting prelitniuiary/ final plat and a conditional use permit for the expansion of the
existing car dealership. The conditional use permit and platting documents expired in 2010.
During staff and Planning Commission review, it became apparent that the applicant desired variances
from applicable ordinances, including signage and building materials. The applicant is evaluating options
between applying for a variance or rezoning the property as a planned unit development. Staff will work
with the applicant through that process.
The chosen direction will be discussed by the Planning Commission and City Council in December.. The
applicant has waived the 60 day requirements in the attached email.
