ACTION REQUESTED
Council motion approving a pyrotechnic fireworks display license fox RES Specialty Pyrotechnics, Inc. to
conduct a pyrotechnic display at Elk River High School during a football game on October 29, subject to
the following conditions:
1. RES Specialty shall arrange for a site inspection by the Fire Depaztment the day of the
pyrotechnic display(s).
2. Fire Department may make necessary modifications to the permit's approval.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Staff received a request from RES Specialty Pyrotechnics, Inc. this afternoon requesting a pyrotechnic
display permit fox a tentative high school football game on October 29. RES has akeady received
approval fox numerous high school home games this season. This request is for an additional date.
The Fireworks Operator Certification has been verified with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
