Authorization to Obtain Quotes on Used
Pick Up Trucks for Street Department
The 1998 budget identified $31,650.00 from equipment certificates for the
purchase of three used pick up trucks for use by the Street/Park Department.
I request Council approval to start the process to locate suitable vehicles.
Historically, winter is the best time to purchase pick ups and we would like
to allow ourselves plenty of time to find good used equipment.
Once suitable trucks are located, I will come before the City Council for
authorization to purchase them.
