SUBJECT: Approval to Purchase Pickup
The 1998 budget has $26,000 in capital outlay for the purchase of one 1998
pickup.
The following quotes were received, (prices do not include sales tax):
· Hennepin County Purchasing $20,182
· Saxon Chevrolet $20,348
· Elk River Ford $22,470
· Elk River Chrysler $22,988
Although Saxon Chevrolet is slightly higher than Hennepin County
Purchasing, it is my recommendation that the city council authorize the
purchase from Saxon Chevrolet.
