Appointment of Vice Mayor
As part of the annual business meeting, the Council is required to appoint a
Vice Mayor to preside in the absence of the Mayor. All council members are
eligible for this appointment. It has been past practice to rotate the position.
Listed below are Vice Mayor appointments during the past six years.
· 1992 Holmgren
· 1993 Dietz
· 1994 Farber
· 1995 Scheel
· 1996 Holmgren
· 1997 Dietz
If the council chooses to remain consistent with the above pattern, the next
Vice President would be Council Member Farber.

Council motion appointing a Vice Mayor for 1998.
