Acceptance of Tiller Corporation
Contribution
For the past 7-8 years, or so, the City has received the very generous
donation of $500.00 from the Tiller Corporation to be used to benefit the
youth of Elk River. The Tiller Corporation operates through Barton Sand &
Gravel Co. and Commercial Asphalt Co. in Elk River.
We always like to publicly acknowledge this contribution and accordingly,
this item is on the agenda for City Council discussion. Typically, the $500.00
is placed in the Park Equipment/Infrastructure reserve. However, it is up to
the City Council to decide if it would like this $500.00 applied toward any
specific project and this type of discussion should take place at the 1/5/98
Council meeting.
