SUBJECT: Hillside Park Easement Update
The Parks and Recreation staff continues to work with GRE and the volunteer trail users of
Hillside Park regarding the recent tree cutting/clearing in the park's utility easement. Some
of the trees cut down were outside the easement area.
We did meet with GRE recently and they agreed to assist in meeting with the trail users. We
axe planning a trail planning session with both the trail users and GRE the week of
November 15 to discuss possible improvements. We want to thank Dave Anderson and
Mike Niziolek in assisting to lead in the effort to work with the trail users and GRE.
