ACTION REQUESTED
Interview Joshua Fox for consideration as a Heritage Preservation Commissioner. If appointed, he would
fulfill the unexpired term of Kristin Harris until February 28, 2013.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
There is one vacancy on the Heritage Preservation Commission created by the resignation of Kristin
Harris in September. The vacancy has been advertised per the Board and Commission Policy.
Staff received one application from Joshua Fox. Mr. Fox will be in attendance at the meeting.

I think that the preservation of our history is vital and I would like to be a part of helping
to make this happen.
Relevant Experience: Please describe your educational, professional, civic, or community
participation, which may be relevant in serving on this board/commission.
I currently work for the MN Historical Society as an Interpreter at the Oliver Kelley Farm.
I have a degree in History from St. Cloud State University (2006). Iwas a co-founder of
the History Club at Anoka-Ramsey Community College where I was the 2003 History
Student of the Year.
