Issue
It is requested the City Council postpone action on these four applications
until the February 9, 1998, City Council meeting.
Overview
The Planning Commission reviewed these applications at the December 22"d
meeting. Following a lengthy discussion, the Commission wanted to receive
additional information in order to make a recommendation to the City
Council. Therefore, this item will be presented to the Planning Commission
once again at their meeting on January 27th where it is expected a
recommendation will then be forwarded on to the City Council.
Recommendation
It is recommended the City Council postpone action on the above mentioned
applications by Guardian Angels of Elk River to the February 9, 1998, City
Council meeting. (It should be noted that February 9th is not the regular City
Council meeting date where development business is considered. Guardian
Angels has asked if the Council meeting to review their applications could be
moved up in order to keep them on a schedule to begin construction this
spring.)
