Premises Permit Renewal for American
Legion
The American Legion has made application for a premises permit renewal to
operate pull tabs at the American Legion. The American Legion has met the
City's requirement of spending at least 75% of its lawful expenditures within
the City's trade area. The City's trade area consists of the cities of Elk River,
Rogers, Ramsey, Zimmerman and Otsego.
ACTION REQUESTED
Council motion to adopt the attached resolution approving renewal of the
Premises Permit for the American Legion.

A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL FOR THE
AMERICAN LEGION POST #112
WHEREAS, the American Legion Post #112 has made application to the State
Control Gambling control Board for a Premises Permit Renewal; and
WHEREAS, the Premises Permit will allow charitable gambling on the premises of
the American Legion located at 525 Railroad Drive; and
WHEREAS,
the American Legion has met the City's requirement of spending at
least 75% of its lawful expenditures within the City's trade area
during the past two years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota that a Premises Permit for the American Legion be
granted to allow charitable gambling operations at the American
Legion, 525 Railroad Drive.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 20th day of
January, 1998.
