11-15 - C.A.E.R Fundraiser at the Senior Center (Lunch & Friendship Bingo)
$301 in cash & checks and 423 lbs. of groceries were collected. 107 participants
December Highlights
Thrusday, Dec. 8 is the annual "Members Only' After Houk Parryfrom 4-6pm Cturently
there are 447 members. Live music, pizza, treats and door prizes.
Two of our regular participant groups are also hosting holiday parties this year at the Activity
Center.
The Origami classes that we added this fall have been a big hit with women and men
participants. We have also had success with the Make Your Own G ft Box classes. As a whole
all the craft classes that are offered have had strong attendance during 2011.

Hot Topic(s) of the Month
A popular program this time of year are the preschool classes held in the YMCA
gymnasium These classes are targeted for youth as young as 15 months through five years
of age. Four types of classes are offered including Preschool Tumbling, Parent and Tot
Tumbling, Parent and Tot Open Playtime, and JumlrJive-Exhale with Kids Cardio. These
classes utilize active playequipment such as balance beams along with music to teach
coordination and movement in an enriching atmosphere.
