Schedule Joint Meeting with
the Planning Commission and
City Council
At the Planning Commission's annual meeting held on January 17, 1998, the
Commission indicated a desire to meet with the City Council in a joint
session. The Commission would like to discuss one general topic relating to
growth in the City of Elk River and some of the activity occurring in East Elk
River. The Planning Commission would be happy to meet with the City
Council at the meeting on March 9th following the EDA meeting. If this
acceptable to the City Council, I will confirm that date with the Planning
Commission and provide a packet of information to both the Council and
Planning Commission prior to the meeting.
Requested Action
The City Council is asked to schedule a special meeting for March 9, 1998,
immediately following the EDA, to meet with the Planning Commission.
