ACTION REQUESTED
Adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the monetary donation from Deeon Raveling Daycare
pursuant to Minnesota State Statute X465.03. Statute requires that resolutions are adopted by a 2/3
majority vote.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Elk River Fire Department received a $25.00 donation from Deeon Raveling Daycare with the intent
that the money be used towards the purchase of emergency equipment.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $25.00 donation from Deeon Raveling
Daycare with the intent it be used by the Elk River Fire Department towards the purchase of
emergency equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
by at least atwo-thirds vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Deeon Raveling
Daycare for their donation.
