The Parks and Recreation Department maintains seven outdoor ice rinks throughout the
Ciry. Two of these rinks have warming houses including Lions Pazk and Handke stadium
which are supervised evenings and weekends. Both of these parks offer skating/hockey
rinks as well as sledding hills. The East hockey rink at Handke stadium can be rented by
groups through the Parks and Recreation office.
This season the weather has made it extremely challenging to maintain the rinks. Despite
this challenge staff have managed to keep the rinks open as much as possible.
