Council may make appointments or wait until more applications are received. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION There are vacancies on the Heritage Preservation Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Planning Commission. These positions have been. advertised on the city's website and cable channel since the first week in January. The positions have also been advertised in the StarNe~vs and posted on the city's social media as appropriate. Heritage Preservation Commission One vacancy/ term expires February 28, 2015 One application has been received from Marilyn VanPatten. Ms. VanPatten will be in attendance at Monday's meeting for an interview. Planning Commission Two vacancies/terms expire February 28, 2015 One application has been received from Mike Keller. Mr. Keller will be in attendance Monday fox an interview. Parks and Recreation Commission Two vacancies/terms expire February 28, 2015 Staff has received one application from Bonnie Schmitz. Ms. Schmitz will be out of town and unable to attend the interview.
