U date on Buildin Signage
BACKGROUND:
In late 2011, the Commission asked staff to research restrictions and regulations for Signage on
the Power Plant. The only restriction would be size. The Signage would be limited to 96 squaze
feet. Staff has talked with two different local sign companies. At the February meeting the
Commission approved proceeding with the lowest quote.
DISCUSSION:
There has been further staff discussion on the proposed Signage. Originally, staff had proposed
two separate building signs. There are some issues with the implementation of this and staff
believes that only one building sign is needed. Secondly, there were some differences in the
quotes that needed to be addressed.
Staff will provide additional information at the time of the Commission meeting.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Staff will make a recommendation to the Commission at the time of the meeting.
