SUBJECT: Meeting Reminder & Staff Updates -March 21, 2012
This is to remind you of our upcoming meeting on Wednesday, Match 21, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. in the Uppertown
Conference Room at the Elk River City Hall. The agenda and December & February minutes axe attached.
STAFF UPDATES
PROJECT CONSERVE PHASE III
The Energy Auditors have completed 47 audits. Staff is working on the reports for the participants. The next
meeting has been scheduled for April 14, 17, and 19, 2012 and will cover water and rerycling. Angela Hauge, Elk
River Municipal Utilities and Bill Bxondex, Sherburne County Soil & Water Conservation District will be speaking
about water conservation. Newsletters have been going out to past and present participants.
BUSINESS & ENERGY EXPO ,
The Business and Energy Expo is scheduled for Sunday, Mazch 25 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. to be held at the Elk River
High School. Currently, there are only 8 exhibitors in Energy Alley. Staff is contacting past exhibitors to encourage
them to participate. The Chamber is also looking fox volunteers both Saturday and Sunday to help with set-up and
take-down. Please let me know if you aze interested.
SWOT ANALYSIS
Attached is a Marketing Plan for Energy City. I plan on giving the standazd Energy City presentation during the
meeting. Also, it was discussed that the ECC develop an Energy Related Company Duectoxy. Please bring any
ideas of who should be included in the directory to the meeting.
