BACKGROUND:
Approved in the 2012 Budget was a mini excavator.
_ DISCUSSION:
For 2012, RDO Equipment, Co. was awarded the State Bid for Hitachi compact excavators. The
State bid quote is attached for Commission review. The cost is $30,410. This piece of
equipment was budgeted at $50,000.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Staff recommends purchasing this excavator for the State bid amount of $30,410.
