ACTION REQUESTED
The Council is asked to publically recognize Firefighter/District Chief Daniel P. Kreuser for his
30 years of service to the residents of Elk River.
Mayor Dietz is asked to present a plaque to Firefighter/District Chief Daniel P. Kreuser.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Firefighter/District Chief Daniel P. Kreuser was hired as an on-call firefighter in May, 1982. Since that
time, Chief Kreuser has held a number of positions within the department and is currently the District
Chief assigned to Station #2. Chief Kreuser has distinguished himself as a dedicated firefighter, leader,
and mentor.
In addition to his position as a city firefighter, he also serves on the Board of Directors of the Elk River
Fire and Ambulance Service. Until recently, he also led the Elk River Fire and Ambulance Service's
scholarship committee.
