Dear Commissioners:
On April 7, 1998, the "Lighting Committee" which consists of Commissioner George Zabee, Utilities
Foreman Glenn Sundeen, and I met to discuss the placement of street lights for 1998. There were a total
of eight (8) light requests.
Below is a list of lighting requests that we received:
1) Request for a street light in the 700 block of Washington Court (cul-de-sac). Net increase
(1)
2) Request for a street light in the 19300 block of Baldwin at the cul-de-sac. Net increase (1).
3) Request to install mid block lighting on Highland Road from Jackson Avenue to Proctor
Road. This area would qualify for four (4) additional street lights. Net increase (4).
4) The 18000 block of Albany Street, south of County Road 30 currently has two (2) street
lights paid for by the neighborhood. They are requesting that these lights be included in the
street light program. Net increase (2).
The lighting committee concurs with these requests and recommends that the Elk River Utilities
Commission approve the above stated locations per Glenn Sundeen's specifications.
