Council may make appointments at this meeting or wait until the May 21 meeting. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION The Heritage Preservation Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Planning Commission each have one vacancy. These positions have been advertised on the city's website and cable channel since the first week in January. The positions have also been advertised in the StarNeavs and posted on the city's social media as appropriate. Heritage Preservation Commission One vacancy/ term expires February 28, 2015 Two applications have been received and both applicants indicated they will be in attendance for the interviews. 1. Heidi Kaliher Ms. Kaliher's first choice is the HPC and her second choice is Parks and Recreation Commission 2. Marilyn VanPatten Ms. VanPatten's fzrst choice is the HPC, second choice Utilities (no vacancy), and third choice is Planning Parks and Recreation Commission One vacancy/term expires February 28, 2015 Three applications have been received and all applicants have indicated they will be in attendance to be interviewed. 1.
