BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION Mayor Dietz received a request from Woodcrest Baptist Church in Fridley asking that Elk River send a proclamation to help them honor law enforcement personnel on Sunday, June 3, 2012. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, as Mayor of the City of Elk River, I do hereby proclaim Sunday, June 3, 2012, as Law Enforcement Sunday in the City of Elk River, Minnesota in conjunction with the prayer service and celebration at Woodcrest Baptist Church in Fridley, Minnesota.
