I would like for the City Council to call a special meeting for Monday, May
11, 1998, following the EDA meeting. The major purpose of this meeting is to
have a joint meeting with the Utilities Commission.
I would like for the City Council to call a special meeting for Tuesday, May
26, 1998, as Monday the 25th of May is Memorial Day and city offices are
closed. This meeting is anticipated to begin at 6 p.m. at the Wastewater
Treatment Plant for the superintendent's annual report and tour of the
newly expanded facility.
Laurie Heinecke owns and operates the House B Clean business. Laurie
provides the city's cleaning services. Laurie has advised me that she can no
longer handle the work load of all the facilities she is currently cleaning for
the city. Staff needs to discuss this situation with the City Council and look
at some alternatives, including hiring a city employee.
