SUBJECT: Governor's Fishing Opener
Each year the Mayor has received an invitation to attend the Governor's
Fishing Opener event. I am not sure how many Mayor's receive this
invitation (I assume that it is a significant number) or how many Mayors
actually attend. This year Mayor Duitsman has decided to participate.
The purpose of this item on the agenda is simply to have the City Council
acknowledge that the Mayor will be attending this event and that there will
be some minor City expenditures associated with his traveling to the Red
Wing area and staying overnight.
