ORD 12-08to be removed Underlines to be added • ORDINANCE 12 - oft CITY OF ELK RIVER AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER AMENDING SECTION 50 -91 and 50 -96 OF THE ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA, CITY CODE The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 50 -91 tided, Definitions, of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be amended to change the following: Calenda r yea r means a 12 -month period beginning on January 1 st and ending on December 31St the-day . Section 50 -96, tided, Enforcement of Alarm Ordinance, of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be amended to change the following: •Excessive false alarms ailure to register. It is hereby .f �f 8 Y found and determined that three or more false alarms within a pefffiit year calendar year is excessive, constitutes a public nuisance, and shall be unlawful. Civil penalties for false alarms and for failure to obtain an alarm permit for an alarm system may be assessed against an alarm user, as provided in the city's current fee schedule. Section 2.
