A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION REGARDING LOCAL FUNDING
FOR A STATE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT
AT THE INTERSECTION OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 10 AND MAIN STREET
WHEREAS,
the Region 7W Transportation Policy Board (TPB) has selected the Trunk
Highway 10/Main Street (MSAS 113) intersection improvements for
federal funding consideration by the Central Minnesota Area
Transportation Partnership (ATP); and
WHEREAS, the estimated project cost is $423,291; and
WHEREAS, the federal funding is capped for this project at $338,632;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
The City Council does support the improvement of the intersection of
Trunk Highway 10/Main Street.
The City Council is committed to providing local funding estimated in the
amount of $84,659 plus any additional costs above the federal funding
amount of $338,632.
