• 6-7 Retirement of Suzanne Kostanshek at the Senior Center & Activity Center
• Wellness Center at 350 Evans - In the process of changing the Activity Room at the
Senior Center to the "Wellness" Centex. Guardian Angels is partnering with the Elk
River Senior Center. Many of the Senior Centers programs will remain the same.
There will be increased options and classes fox all seniors in the community.
• 6-28 Customer Appreciation at the Senior Center, free bingo & ice cream treats
• 6-29 Customer Appreciation at the Activity Center cake, coffee and chance to win a
door prize.

Staff are putting the fmal touches on upcoming summer program offerings. Anew element
that our program staff added this year was in order to best prepare our seasonal summer
staff, they were sent to a training offered through the Minnesota Recreation and Parks
Association. This training brings seasonal summer staff from Parks and Recreation
Departments from around the state to learn key points on how to best work with children
and the community in delivering quality recreation experiences.
