Receive update from Andrew Eltnquist on the restoration of the retention pond at the intersection of
Joplin Road and Business Center Drive for his Eagle Scout Project.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Mr. Eltnquist contacted staff and Park & Recreation Commissioner Dave Anderson looking for a project
to complete as part of his Eagle Scout requirements. As part of the city's NPDES permit, restoration of
the city's retention pond is a requirement. The pond at the intersection of Joplin Road and Business
Center Drive was in need of restoration. Mr. Elmquist will be presenting an update on his restoration
work.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There will be no financial impact to the city as the work was conducted by volunteers.
