Premises Permit Renewal for Elk River
Lions
The Elk River Lions have submitted a Premises Permit Renewal
Application to allow charitable gambling at Broadway Bar and
Pizza. The attached gambling reports indicate that the Lions have
met the city's requirement of spending 75% of lawful expenditures
within the city's trade area.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Council motion adopting the attached resolution approving the
Premises Permit for Elk River Lions authorizing charitable
gambling by the Lions at Broadway Bar and Pizza.

A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL FOR THE
ELK RIVER LIONS CLUB
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
the Elk River Lions Club has made application to the Minnesota
Gambling Control Board for a Premises Permit Renewal; and
the Premises Permit will allow charitable gambling on the premises of
Broadway Bar and Pizza located at 16754 Highway 10; and
the Elk River Lions Club has met the City's requirement of spending
75% of its lawful expenditures within the City's trade area during the
past two years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota that a Premises Permit for the Elk River Lions Club
be granted to allow charitable gambling operations at Broadway Bar
and Pizza; 16754 Highway 10.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 18th day of
May, 1998.
