Plaques for the Rain Gardens - I contacted Rodney from Parks and Recreation
about signs for the Rain Gardens and he'll be working with Chris Leesberg to
get them designed and printed.
Light on flag pole - The parts have come in and the maintenance department
will be running the wires as soon as their schedule permits.
New Business
Pavers in the Driveway - I contacted Great Northern landscape about
replacing the pavers in the circular drive and the new estimate is $6,500
because of the number of damaged pavers; we had budgeted $2,500. I
contacted Tim Simon and we have enough in our budget to cover the
additional cost.
Friends of the Elk River Library - The Friends of the Elk River Library will be
Co- Sponsoring a Minnesota Author Event each month from September - May.
The programs will be open to the public and paid for by'The Friends of the Elk
River Library' and'Legacy' funds. The programs will be a book discussion
format facilitated by the author.
