SUBJECT: Meeting Reminder & Staff Updates—June 20, 2012
This is to remind you of our upcoming meeting on Wednesday,June 20,2012 at 8:30 a.m. in the Uppertown
Conference Room at the Elk River City Hall. The agenda and May minutes are attached.
STAFF UPDATES
PROJECT CONSERVE PHASE III & IV
Phase III will have one more meeting in September. Staff is still working on newsletters and is looking for some
topics for the summer for the "Ask the Experts" section of the newsletter. Staff is also looking for more summer
energy tips. Please consider providing information for the newsletters.
Staff will be discussing some changes to be implemented in Phase IV at the meeting.
BUDGET &WEBSITE
Please provide staff with your bio and business description to be placed on the City's website.
BUSINESS RECYCLING EVENT
The City hosted another Business Recycling Event on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 12:00— 1:30 p.m. at the Elk
River Library. Presentations were given by CAER Food shelf and Trident Polymers. Staff will be working on
scheduling another event for the fall. Please let us know if you have any topics you think businesses would be
interested in learning about.
