Park Board Commissioner Resignation
Attached is a letter of resignation submitted by Kent Madsen. Kent
is resigning from the Park Board. His term would have expired on
12131199. If it is the Council's wish, staff will advertise for a
replacement.

Dear Pat:
I have served as a Park Board Commissioner for the past three years. During that time, I have had many
conflicts on the same nights that the Park Board meets. With three children and the extra-curricular
activities that they are involved in, I am finding it hard to keep my commitment to the Park Board.
Commitment is a priority for the Park Board, and I do not wish to remain in a position in which I can not be
fully committed to.
Please accept my resignation as a Park Board Commissioner.
