Appointment to Heritage Preservation Commission for a term expiring February 28, 2005.

BACKGROUND
The city has been actively seeking a Heritage Preservation Commission candidate to replace the
vacancy created by Jim Nord who resigned a couple months ago. The vacancy was advertised in the
Star News for two weeks and on the city's website. The city received only one application. The
application received is from Lance Lindberg and is attached for Council review. Lance will be in
attendance at the Monday, October 13, 2003 City Council meeting for an interview.
